Bob asked if I had the swimming pool up and running and if I have assistance" well we are working on it. we were holding off pulling the winter cover until all the seed pods were off the maple trees and all but now we are holding off until the pool deck is painted. it is scraped wire brushed and power washed and need a few dry days to apply and let the paint dry. I'm in no hurry because each day we have sunshine and that pool cover is on the more heat builds up and the warmer the water will get. Once the pool is open I do it pretty much by myself. as I use very little chemicals . only the chlorine tablets in the auto dispenser and box's of baking soda I mix in with a mop bucket of pool water. also got a good tip from Brice as he bought a talking thermoneter from blind mice mart to check the pool temps. Oh I do have sighted help to check the levels of ph and all. Once the pool is actually open I get 4 to 6 volunteers to try to walk fast in a circle for about a half hour. two things happens. it is good excersise then we get out and the swirling affect and effect allows that swirling water to pass thru the skimmer , thus clearing any other water problems.
