We opened our pool last Sunday for the grand Children and the water temp was 
only about 78 degrees, to cold for my old bones.  By 5 last evening and the 
ambient temperature around 100 degrees the pool temperature got up to 87 
degrees.  So I grabbed me a beer and jumped into the pool and cooled down. 
Here in Central California we are having an early heat wave that should last 
through the weekend.
