I received a very constructive criticism about some off topic posts. I and
the list owners are very pleased how it was presented. Instead of posting
the recommendation to the list a private message was sent. That is the
appropriate way to submit suggestions or complaints. At the bottom of each
post there is a link, [EMAIL PROTECTED] that will contact
all members of the moderating team. Please use that link as opposed to
posting complaints or suggestions directly to the list.

Here is a copy of the actual text from the member:

"Why don't you try to explain to members that their comments are off
topic when they keep posting stupid or one and two word answers to a
bad subject. Do your job and kick them off or moderate their posts.
Please! It makes for a bad list to let it continue."

We are taking the member's suggestion under advisement. Before taking any
drastic measures I respectfully request that the list membership considers
this point. It becomes a lot of unnecessary work placing a member in
moderated status. Also by subsequent posts from a moderator stating that the
previous post is off topic only adds to the clutter on the list.

We on the moderating team are in agreement that the member has a very valid
list observation so please try and remember that the one or two word
responses only tend to fill member's in-boxes.

Thank you for your consideration and cooperation, by following this
guideline it will significantly improve the list quality.
