I have one I purchased for my old VersaPoint embosser. It is really just a
particle board box lined with foam rubber with a hinged Plexiglas lid. If it is
working hard or left on to print stuff as I need it I find it gets pretty darn
warm in there. I think I would prefer to build something with baffles to allow
plenty of air flow.

Michael, I never have, but I've used one in the past. The one I used was
basically a wooden box that went over the top of the embosser, with a kind
of plastic door at the front so you could get to the controls and stuff. The
box was basically lined with soft rubber, which in turn was lined with
  something like carpet.
  Hope this helps
  Cheers
  Alex

  Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Embosser enclosures

  Hi,
Has anyone made their own sound proof enclosure for a braille embosser?
Don't have my embosser yet, but I am looking for ideas for building my own.
  Thanks,
  Michael
