It turns out that with modern carbon fiber production techniques the makers can do a whole lot better for less than any home brew system we can imagine. Now if somebody could find a way to reproduce or buy the older "rainshine" tips that had the real rubber insert, I'd love them Paying between $1.50 and $3.00 for the modern tips with loose plastic inserts boils my blood And the darned metal tip rattles<SNARL>> Tom
