Hi All

We have what is called a expander caravan which has two double beds which
pull out at each end and the roof winds up via a winch mechanism .

I have made a mounting bracket for the extendable Television Arial which has
been drilled through the sub frame of the van and through the 4

inch channel , there are two clamps which when tightened should hole the
areal secure.

Last year we found we needed an awning over the front entrance so we got one
made with lots of eyelets along both sides and along the front so I have
just finished putting eyelets which match the eyelets in the awning in
tarpaulins we bought to close in the sides.

Then I put in special hooks which when hammered together go through the
eyelets so it can b quickly hooked up.

I changed the winding controller which winds up the dome in the roof
because the winding control was stripped.

This involved removing the screen over the hole inside the van and then
removing the winder and replacing it with a new winder.

While I was at it I replaced the seal around the hole so it should be water
proof.

I also made a swing out arm with a water tap on it so it could swing out
from the draw bar of the van and out clear of the bed so if we want water at
the front of the van we now have a tap there.

It has a support arm under Neath so if we need to hang a bucket on the tap
it will support the weight.

I also have just finished making a trolley with wheels on it, for use under
our extra fridge which we are taking this year.

Ray
