Betsy, thanks. I knew about the eighteen inch rule. The machine's on a table
because in the past, the basement has taken on some water, plus the drain hose
is integrated in with a humidifier and air conditioner drain line. The last
two I had were L Gs I think. The newer L Gs have a panel with
semi-recognizable buttons where you set the speed, percent of humidity and the
time interval. It was very hard to get any kind of labels to stick to it, and
I wound up making a kind of diagram so I could use it.
