After some minor delays we flew out of Hungary last evening.
Landed at JFK and made it past customs by 11:30 pm. Got home around
4:30 am and was back up for coffee and donuts by 6am.
I will post more after jet lag wears off, but I will share one
funny story. I was in charge of a crew putting in a volley ball
court. No one wanted to drive the stick shift truck. I offered to
teach anyone to drive it to get back to the main campus area, no
takers. So I drove the truck back with one guy in front watching the
front and right side and a guy in the back left to watch the back and
left side. Once we got back we ran into the head campus guy on his
motorcycle. He just stopped and looked a while. Than he asked if no
one else wanted to drive stick. I said no one wanted to so two
volunteered to watch the sides and front and back. He laughted and
said that was funny, three guys to drive a truck.
He has asked me to return, with a group or alone, anytime I want.
He would preferr if I came early before school let out for the summer.
I told him I would probably return next year if possible and stay a
month. A fantastic two weeks.
