hi lee you got it wrong.
theese are round disks about 4 to 8 inches round.
there is heavy spunge rubber on one side and verry smooth plastic or 
nilon or what ever it is on the other.
the edges are rounded over so they will slide nice.
you just tip up a corner and slide one under it then repeat for all four sides.
and push.
i used mine on this old heavy dresser and it slid across the carpit 
ever so nicely.
