you are correct max about the high cost for repairs. How old is or was your ruder? we had a coil go inside our 5 year old sears / craftsman mower. at one time the coil was mounted on the outside but now to replace the coil you have do dqrn neqar dis assemble half the engine compartment. so we had someone do it at a cost of about $135 most of that was labor. sue deserved a new Deere anyway. grins.Lee
