Dear Max:
About twelve years ago I had similar problems with a Sears lawn tractor
which had a Tecumseh engine. I had to replace the engine all together. Since
my son is doing some lawn work as a sideline, he has convinced us to buy a Scag
zero turn. It is a commercial machine, but since we mow over five acres and
we all work full time, it is nice to have a mower that will "get her done".

                Yours Truly,

                Clifford Wilson

Sue reported that it vibrated for a few seconds before seizing up. It's a
rider and there is almost no grass in the engine compartment.

Regards.
