Bill, you said that you wear your watch while working? I never have anything on my hands when using power tools. Even my wedding ring goes upstairs. I have always done this for safety. A few years ago someone that I know was using his saw while wearing a ring. They did find his finger and re-attached it but he never did find his ring. I put my watch in my pocket where I can access it easily.
