Claudia, You may just want to get a plumber to come in and clean out the main drain line for the house. I had water back up into my basement a couple of years ago, the main drain to the house was clogged and the plumber was able to clear it out pretty quickly. Around here, plumbers get about $150 to show up and for the first hour. After that, it varies on their hourly rate.
