there wasn't anything the electrolux couldn't handle.
i had apartments and would loan it out monthly for anyone who didn't have 
a working vac. You can ask in the lease that folks vac the place but do ya 
want to lose a tenent due to that?
we've usd it after all kinds of repair work. Just pick up pieces near an 
inch. The electrolux can do the rest.

I find with dog hair you have to take the beater to the barber every 6 
months or so. It get wrapped and some of that will twist into the track 
where the brush roller assembly exists, (at least on this Oreck) and that 
stops the freedom tof the beater to do what the belts are asking. So you 
get that hot stinking belt smell.
I think I like gear drive; but am not completely sure.
