Hello everyone, I, unlike the rest of you am not a handy man. I do well to use a screwdriver, but I am the coordinator of the Fred's Head Database and Blog for the American Printing House for the Blind, and I'm looking for your suggestions and articles.
Fred's Head is named after Fred Gisoni of APH's Customer Relations department. Many of you may know Fred. If you do, you know that he's a wealth of tips and tricks for people who are blind or visually impaired. Our online database and blog tries to spread his ideas over the internet and help others who may be in a situation where his tips can assist them in a task. Each one of us as blind people know some tip or trick to make life easier. As blind handymen, you know useful tools and devices that help you around the house. I'd love to have some of your tips to put in our database. Have you written articles for other blindness-related magazines or publications? Would you be interested in writing up something on a useful tool or device and have it available on the internet for others? Even if you know of a tool and can give me the information on where it can be purchased, I can then write up an article for the database. Either way, I'd love to publish your ideas. If you submit an article, I will give you full credit for it, including any links to a website if you have one. Please contact me off-list at [EMAIL PROTECTED]<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with any ideas you may have. I have subscribed to this list and look forward to talking with all of you. Maybe I can contribute something from the database here as well. Thanks, Michael McCarty Fred's Head Database and Companion blog Coordinator http://www.fredshead.info [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
