Brice, they make a trickle charger that plugs into the cig-lighter. It isn't used to give your battery a large charge or a full charge. It just keeps the charge kind of topped off so the is maximun power during cold temps. They can be plug in for 120 volt house power or solar hooked to a small panel that lays on the dash in the sun. I am not sure if they can even supply 3 amps at 14.5 volts. ..............bob
