I just LOVE all the humidifier talk!! My husband must have bought the weirdest one Target had. You have to turn the whole thing upside down to fill it. I think I made a good move in unplugging the thing till I either decide to take it back or get some eyeballs to read the manual more thoroughly. Yes! It's free-standing and even if I want to kick the thing, it would do a number on my toes! I know there's a filter in there somewhere and I am going to take it apart sometime just to see how to manage it. I gotta put it somewhere besides the dining room! Thank you all!
