Bill, I'll have to agree with Victor about volume, bit rate, listening quality. When I use my hear buds with an MP3 player, lower bit rate sounds just as good as a higher bit rate. The other thing about changing rates with a program, is having it set on editing setting or whatever is available other than entertainment setting or gaming setting. ...............bob
