I don't know about having a ball but you've all been very helpful. Thanks to everyone for all the good advice. I have only now finished the cleaning part because I wanted to be very thorough. I also got an official description of the walls. It is pre-finished sheetrock with laminate moulding. The bathroom has two sinks on opposite sides of the room so I am going to remove one of them and replace it with a linen cabinet. There's also some cheesy and cheap mirrors around the garden tub that are coming down also. I haven't gotten that far yet but I won't start painting until that sink and cabinet/pedestal is removed along with those mirrors. Then I'll start the priming and be sure and let it dry completely before I even purchase the paint. I want to take my time so that it turns out great. (and to let my back recover between coats) Thanks again everyone. I'm sure I'll have other questions later on and it's nice to be able to come here for advice. Jo V
