Hi All, Since this thread has started, I have been wondering how big the piece of plastic to be given these 1/2 x 1/8 slots is...and also am curious what it would then be used for.
When I have needed to make holes in something that could possibly crack, I will usually reinforce the area with tape before the punching begins. The tape can then be removed If it is sort of heavy duty, I would suggest clear duct tape.
