Hi Claudia, Often when a screen reader says that a PDF file is blank you can read it through one of the blindness scanning packages OpenBook or Kurzweil 1000. When in Adobe start the printing process and select the printer choice that came with your scanning package (Freedom Import Printer or the Kesi Virtual Printer). Then you read the file in your scanning package. Hi All, Has anyone had any success with scanning books, particularly young children's books, with either Kurzweil or OpenBook? I have lots of books here for my son, and I was having volunteers read them for me, but I can't keep up and wanted to know if there might be an easier way? I also can't remember how to read documents, when Adobe tells me that the document is empty? If anyone could refresh my memory, I'd appreciate it very much! Thanks.
