Claudia, I've done a lot of book scanning -- not so many children's books, but using Openbook, the pictures are usually left out. If they are more line drawings Openbook may try to interpret them as text. And if there are captions under pictures Openbook will include them as text. What this means is that you will probably need to edit the books after you scan them. Blessings, Tom
