I can't speak for power putty; but if it's like plumbers putty I'd try it.
I've stuck metal to metal and metal to plastic with that stuff and it 
takes a lot to get it apart.
Now, for Shamwow! Not worth the money. They absorb the first time, and 
even as instructed you don't use softner when you wash them, never the 
same again.
