If you really want one, check out Tylertool.com
They have a whole section under each brand for reconditioned tools. I picked
up a 4.5 inch Makita for $38 and change. I got the huge Dewalt for $94 there.
They offered free shipping at one time if the order went over 100 so instead of
paying for shipping, I ordered a couple extra grinding wheels. I use both a
lot but that big one is pretty unforgiving.

It's more or less, just a grinding wheel. However, it is a power hand
tool, not a bench grinder. It is great for cutting through lots of stuff,
bricks, cement, black iron, bike locks, dot dot dot.

I have twice missed getting a small 4.5 inch version from toolIDay.
  Hoping it comes around again.
