Dear Dale:
I think you will enjoy your new saw. Huskvarna is the brand of choice
here. I have owned three other brands, and the Husky is by far the highest
rated for my use.
The chain oil should be as Ray says, the type which you can buy which is
designed as bar oil. The saw will automatically oil the chain as it runs.
Older saws had a manual oiler button, but the model I have takes care of that
task by itself.
One suggestion for safety, and that is never use the round tip of the saw
to cut, and try not to let the tip accidentally cut another part of a tree as
this will likely cause a kick-back. Also, always be mindful of the binding
which occurs when cutting a tree. With a good saw, you can be in a bind before
you know it, as you will cut deeper faster than you may anticipate.
The bar oil should be topped off each time you refuel, and normally the bar
oil will not run out first.

                Yours Truly,

                Clifford Wilson
