Dan, The main rails are what I usually hang across the joices and tie the hangers from there and hold up the main rail. It is a matter of cutting the rails and what space you are looking for such as a 2 ft x2ft. or 2ft x 4 ft. the cross pieces come in 2 ft or f4 ft pieces. I don't level the side rails, but measure from the floor up in the corners and snap a chalk line to nail these angles. using a sighted person to line up the angles on the line. RJ
I believe I know the basic concept of installing a dropped ceiling, but am I correct in thinking that there are wires hanging from the joists, supporting the long rails of the ceiling framework?
