My wife just made a bondo patch about double the size of the 8 inch
rusty split but what I would like to to is get a good size piece from
another pool and affix that overtop of the bondo and a couple feet to
each side of the opening. this pool is 13 years old . the rainy
weather has not given us space to do anything prior to today and we
are currently running two hoses one 3/8th and the other a 1/2 inch hose
tosiphon rain water off the winter cover. As Geno said years ago, get
a pool and it is like building an addition on the house . another thing
to take care of. if it was me. I'd move next to a creek or a lake. .
