Hi TOm thanks for that suggestion as well. The good thing is the lids of the cans will work because you can't see them unless you are looking for them. SO, if I were to sell my home tomorrow, the new owners would likely never notice them until they painted the doors or they had a reason to mess with the knob. Yep, the lids are thick enough and provide great stability and I have plenty now.
