Aloha Jennifer, A few years ago my friend asked me if I would help her use a fancy little device that she had purchased that sounds a lot like what you're mentioning here. Her double-sided kitchen sink was clogged on one side. We covered one side of the sink and she held the plug in place and I helpfully pumped air into the device. On the particular one that she purchased, one was supposed to build up pressure and then push a button to realease the air into the drain. Well, she had 73 year old pipes and the pipe that goes from the drain of the sink to the outside blew right off the wall. It was quite fun trying to replace all those old pipes that didn't match anything made today. However, it was no longer plugged, just drained right into the bucket that I had wisely placed under it. Recommendation...never buy one! Betsy
