Hi Max, Don't know about any of the other places, but Home Depot sells these plastic scrapers, where the edge is plastic, as opposed to metal or stainless steel.
They have just as fine an edge as the metal ones, but will not harm the finish on any smooth surface, unless you actually gouge the surface with it, and even then, you'd have a difficult time of it. I believe they can be found in the paint section. I had gotten one to scrape off the old caulking around the bath tub. Worked out quite nicely. Victor
