You want to kill it more than wash it. Power washing will also tend to remove
paint, the finish of the siding, I don't think I would.
A bit of mild bleach or TSP might well do the job.

Howdy All, it has been a rather cool and somewhat rainy summer here in
Michigan. I have aluminum sided house and was told about some green spots
on the siding. I would assume that this is mildew and have been thinking
how to remove this mildew. I have been thinking about power washing it and
if there was something I should put on this mildew to help remove it...
Any suggestions... Would power washing be enough?
