Aloha Claudia, Some do, for a price. The ones that John mentioned, are pretty easy to assemble yourself if you have patience. I purchased three sauders bookcases in 1989 and they are still perfect. I also purchased a large computer desk with a hutch on top a year later and it's still perfect. I think you could assemble them with a little direction if you're not used to doing that sort of thing.
I don't remember the brand, but I bought a do-it-yourself two drawer wooden filing cabinet and put that together. Sometimes it is helpful to look at the assembled item in the store. Get your fingers in there and really look at the kind of screws and fasteners that are used and where they are. Good luck, Betsy At 01:56 PM 9/15/2009, you wrote: > > >Do the actual stores build & deliver them, if necessary? > >Claudia > >----- Original Message ----- >From: jim >To: <mailto:blindhandyman%40yahoogroups.com>[email protected] >Sent: Tuesday, September 15, 2009 6:17 PM >Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] New Desk? > >well if you got bucks office max or if you don't try free cycle >i am pretty sure it is freecycle.org >then find your part of the country then your state and then your local area >and join. >its easy and you don't have to join yahoo. >jim > >[Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > >[Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
