K, I am toying with this idea of making a quad train whistle. It requires that you drill 4 holes at different lengths. The deepest hole is to be 7 and 1 fourth inches I think. I checked the paddle bits I have and at the most, I think they are capable of drilling 4 and a half. Is the trick to cut the wood, and drill coinciding holes in 2 or 3 different pieces, then glue them all back together, forming longer holes, or are there longer bits to be, had?
