I just received this device for setting or copying compound curves. It is a strip of metal about inch and a quarter high and five and a half feet long. At intervals there are brackets attached to it with slots and tightening knobs which allow you to bend the strip into curved shapes then lock them with the knobs.
The problem will be the offset if following this device with a router because one will have to use the base as the guide although I do have an offset base for my Bosch Colt palm router which will reduce this. I don't have or use a rotary Zip saw, that might work better. Anyway, I thought I would pass the URL along in case someone else is interested. When the curve is set it is really very secure. http://busybeetools.ca/cgi-bin/picture10?NTITEM=B2833 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
