Hi Lee, Actually, we hop a jet plane. When you live in the islands like this, jumping on a plane is like busses in the continental U.S. Most of the time my trips are paid for by the people I either volunteer with, such as boards, or by customers who need me to consult with them about their alternate format materials, onsite. Usually, I fly to Honolulu. It takes about 40 minutes and costs about $150 roundtrip. When I first moved here in 1990, it was $36 roundtrip.
