Be VERY CAREFUL when re-attaching the tank to the bowl. In fact, the tank may exhibit a bit of "wobble" but if the new seal between tank and bowl is sufficiently snug and properly placed the tank does not need to be concretely tightened to the bowl -- trying to do so jeopardizes cracking the porcelain that makes up the tank and bowl.
And it doesn't require intense tightening to do that damage. Yes, I know personally from experience!
