The Victor Stream works well too. In addition to playing Mp3's it is also
great for listening to NLS books, Audible.com material, and text files. It
also has a great memo feature that can record for hours depending on how
large a memory card one puts in it. It is a great and versatile little unit.

You might want to visit www.rockbox.org. This site is the home for
rockbox, a public domain firmware for several players. I have
an iAudio x5l running rockbox. I am extremely happy with it.
