When I use to get mold on the vinyl siding (north side) I would wash it down
with 1/4 cup of dishwashing detergent to 1 gallon of water. (Cascade) Than
spray it down with white vinegar. Would last about two years and would have to
do it all over again.,

if the mold is on the outside, just get some of that TSP they have been
talking about and a good scrub brush and scrub it down.
then if you want rinse it down with some bleech water.
