somewhat off topic maybe, but I've learned through richard Oehm, that DTV converters that use the "BroadComm" chip set have a neat signal strength meter that's accessible.
If you can find out that you have such, and they are distributed under many
brand names, try pressing
"Menu"

you'll get a varriable tone that indicates signal strength.
{Press "enter" the center of the arrow key circle, to get back to audio.
Handy for messing with antennas.
