Bill, I've used the Phillips as well as the hex head, but, as I said, my
problem is holding the Phillips screw bit directly in line with the screw
because of my visual impairment.  Also, I've been doing construction work
for well over 30 years and I certainly know how to select the proper size,
screwdriver bit.  My point was that with the combined Phillips and square
drive, with the special bit, I no longer have that problem because I don't
have to hold it exactlyin line to keep the bit from slipping out of the scre

I've never had this problem with the TapconR concrete screws. You do have to
have the exact size Phillips screw head to avoid the problem with the
screwdriver bit slipping in the screw heads, but you could also buy the
TapconR screws with the hex heads so a socket can be used instead of a
screwdriver. Incidentally, the hex heads also accept Phillips or square
driver bits.
