Dale, did explain how it works. The purpose of the valet key is so they
can't get into the trunk. Years ago there was one pretty smart thief. We
used a valet parking service and had a box of cassette tapes in the back.
It was a station wagon no trunk. Anyway this guy only took one tape from
every car he parked. The only way that we knew it was we listened to the
tape on the way there and went to finish listening when we left. Out of the
30+ tapes that was the only one missing.
A few years ago date line had some hidden cameras in a car. They filmed many
valet attendants going through the cars.

first of all how is that stupid that there is a key there but a lever on the
floor to open the trunk? if they do anything besides park your car and bring
it to you then they broke their contract which they don't want to do. Just
tell your daughter to stop breaking in the back seat. hahaha just kidding.
does it have a defroster?

My daughter just purchased a 2004 Corolla to replace the one that a fire
truck totaled. Her car was parked and the truck was turning around and
backed into it. Anyway there is a lot of frost inside. any ideas what could
cause this? I am wondering about the air conditioner pumping a lot of
moisture inside.
This car has one stupid thing. It has a valet key, however there is a lever
on the floor to open the trunk.
