I have a vice that works for this. To make your own, I'd take 2 pieces of wood and form a V with them. You can run 1 edge of each piece through the table saw at 45 degrees and glue them up. Then make a pair of feet for each end of the jig.
When you have that ready, line the center of the V up with the drill bit.
