Lenny, Maybe you are unaware of the history of this meter. This is the one that we were having to buy from our friends North of the border because they originally wouldn't sell to blind people here in the U.S. because they were afraid we would use them and electrocute our poor blind selves. So, it doesn't surprise me that they tried to dissuade you from purchasing one. A number of us on this list own this meter and are quite happy with them. -- Blue skies.
