Which version of Ubuntu are you using?
For the latest version 22.04 I couldn't find a way to install blink. It
seem not to be supported yet.

Where it says:
"sudo apt-get install package_name"
You want:
"sudo apt-get install blink -y"
(My installation notes are at

but they were for Debian not Ubuntu; similar, and might be of use, but
different.)
