I've been there too.

My solution was to install via flatpak.
The problem is that the latest flatpak update is broken, so you'll have to
install a previous version (5.2.0).
As weird as it is, the latest version on flatpak points to a broken 5.1.8
version.

Would be nice to have a .deb package ready to download.
