You shouldn't enable speakup as it causes troubles.

I don’t know since i most of the time use braille.
I set the debian system up using braille.
Maybe i should try to install speakup and see whats happenn.
BUt first i do the speaker test as you suggested.

Maybe i’ve didn’t install things correctly but when i am prompted for login i
hear the speech asking me to enter my name and password.
When i am logged in i don’t hear any speech or any sound at all.
I have gone through all settings in regards to sound and everything seems to be

Could you try the command speaker-test from command-line to check if the sound
work?
How do you have running the Debian installer ? Do you have speakup launched at
startup?
