Not everyone who lives in big, heavily populated areas has the same
mentality...I grew up near Washington DC and now that I've lived in southwest
VA for the last 7 years, and just recently moved to Alabama....I see how life
is different, more peaceful, and I cannot imagine going back to the hustle
and bustle of Washington. However--I am still the same person in my heart as
I always have been, and appreciate the same things now as I did then. Maybe
it is because my family is from Texas and NC..or maybe it is because no
matter where they came from, they were good people, with good moral values.
It's sad that people in urban areas tend to rush through life so much that
they miss the little things that make the big picture beautiful, but to
generalize people from urban areas based on the ignorance we encounter, is in
and of itself ignorant as well. Just a thought...
