Looks like Nathan has 3 strings missing from his mandolin.

* There you are Willie. I never did find out how your
trip south was (shhhh.... when the R.R. thought you were
"sick". hehe). We just got back from Gatlinburg....
verrrry pretty..... as long as you avoid the tourist traps. :o)
We just stayed nuzzled in the cabin until it was time to
go play (sing in my case). We had fun. I can never get
enough of Cades Cove. They almost couldn't pull me out
of the old Primitive Baptist Church. I just sat there and
imagined all the meetings and amazing harmonies on the
"a cappella sangin's" that must have taken place in there.
It makes me sad though to see how peasants carve the
pews up with initials. grrrr.

Anyway, have you been to the Kentuckians recently??
They tried to book us for January... but we're all booked
up until mid-February, so we're trying to bind schedules
together when they have "Bluegrass Gospel Nights".
Maybe you'd be interested in joining in the jam for the
fun of it.... hope you've wiped the dust off your "five
string". :o) The way we see it.... you can never have too
many musicians having fun.

Merry Christmas buddy,
Your "Northern / Southern" friend,
Renee' Stanley-Scheffler
