I'd like to see the bug reports and feature request updates being sent
to a mailing list. I'm not sure if the majority of people are
interested in this.

Also, I note that you didn't 'cc' this message to the BO list. Is this
a sign that you also feel that some discussions are too techy for the
list.

So...can I fix this? There's a hook on SF for CIA commit messages. It
doesn't rely on any IRC magic.
