Hi all,

again grant writing is blocked by that nasty writers block
phenomenon... (well, still have a few hours before deadline...)

There is something called StackOverflow, and the beta of that is free
to use. Not Open, though. Consider it sort of a MS-Windows or MS-Word
on which we build. I like the platform, and I know a few others do
too.

Anyway, best way to procrastinate is do some Open hacking; you never
know when it can be useful... so, I set up:

http://blueobelisk.stackexchange.com/

I have no clue when the free beta stops, but the data is all CC0. In
due time I'll set up an RDF database with all content.

This might be a good plan, or a bad plan. We'll see. The software has
a serious open character and answers can be edited wiki style, and I
am hoping that content from the exchange will flow into the more
official wiki.

Possible big advantage of the exchange is that it is much easier to
get an account; OpenID works fine.
